May was a thrilling month for the children. We extend our heartfelt thanks to the mothers who attended the Mother’s Day tea party. It was a fantastic turnout. The children were enthusiastic as they shared their handmade gifts and Mother’s Day cards. I want to express my gratitude to our families for allowing our team of teachers and staff to be an integral part of your child’s journey and accomplishments. We love seeing your children each day. To all the parents and families at Little Acorn, we truly appreciate your heartfelt messages of love and support throughout the past year, especially during teacher appreciation week. Your generous cards, flowers, gifts, and recognition mean so much to us.

We have an engaging and dynamic curriculum lined up for all our classrooms. In June, the children will explore the topics of Transportation and our beautiful state of California. Our featured book of the month is The Little Red Hen. As the school year draws to a close, we extend our heartfelt best wishes to the students graduating and transitioning to new schools. We wish them all the very best on their new journeys!

Friendly reminders and updates:

·Father’s Day celebration: Fathers, uncles or grandpas please join us on June 14^th from 9am-10am for a fun morning with your children to celebrate YOU with some yummy coffee and breakfast

·Graduation celebration: We will celebrate our TK/Kinder graduation ceremony on June 24^th from 10:30am-12pm. Ms. Susie will send out invitations to parents of children who are eligible to participate in the ceremony. Also due to limited space, each student can bring up to 2 guests.
