Today, we had a special visit from one of our very own Little Acorn moms Dr. Kristi, a nurse practitioner! She came to our school to talk to our students about her job. Dr. Kristi shared how she helps children by checking for boo-boos, making them feel better, and giving medicine when they are sick. She even showed us how she does her job, like doing check-ups and making sure everyone is healthy. Our students had a great time asking questions and sharing what they want to be when they grow up. The highlight of our week was all about butterflies! 🦋The children were thrilled to witness the life cycle of a butterfly. They started with the eggs, then watched as they hatched into caterpillars (larva), in which transformed into butterflies.
