During November, the children will learn about Harvest and Healthy Bodies. They will explore the process of planting, growing then harvesting of crops. Then the students will discuss the nutritional value of harvesting fruits and vegetables. We will go over how to keep our bodies healthy. Some classrooms have already experienced the benefits of planting and growing their own vegetables. We have done so in our garden on campus.
As we approach Thanksgiving, children will discuss and learn about how to show kindness to others and things to be thankful for. Your child’s teachers will model and discuss how everyone should work together in a peaceful manner, truthfulness, responsibility, and how to show empathy towards others. Please see your child’s classroom board and online blogs for more information.
